On December 16th 2006, the Cambodian Association of Victoria had the pleasure of inviting Mr. XX to give a talk on Buddhism. Mr. XX is arguably Cambodia's most prominent figure in Buddhist Philosophy.

The day was a special occasion for many Cambodian Australians who came from all over Victoria just to see him.

The CAV would like to wish all Cambodian Australians a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year in 2007.

The CAV was founded in July 1985 and incorporated in April 1987.

To deliver quality sercvcice to the disadvantaged members of our community

Vision:
To be recognized as a leading non-profit organization in delivering welfare and sercies to the Cambodian community in Victoria.

Objectives:

• To provide welfare service to the disadvantaged members of the Cambodian community in Victoria.

• To promote good relationships between Cambodian Australians and Australians of other ethnic origins.

• To improve greater opportunities of access for Cambodians vis-à-vis resources and services provided by government and non-government agencies.

• To foster and promote Cambodian cultural heritage and traditions in Australia.
